A parasol has a lot to put up with: dust, rain, bird droppings and algae all take their toll on the canopy. Have it cleaned and reproofed regularly and it keeps its colour and looks, and lasts for many more years.
ZONklaar cleans every type of parasol, centre pole or cantilever, round or square, using our proven process. We then apply a hydrophobic coating so water and dirt bead off. We clean and reproof shade sails too.

Drop off your parasol at one of our 170+ collection points. We take care of transport to Sneek.

Cleaning our way
In our facility we treat the canopy with our controlled, gentle process, tailored to the material and the dirt.

Reproofing
A fresh hydrophobic coating makes the fabric water-repellent again and resistant to algae, mould and UV light.
- Stap 04
Final inspection
We check the seams and fabric and assess the result.

Return
Your parasol goes back to the collection point, packed.

How much does parasol cleaning cost?
The price depends on the surface area of the canopy in square metres. Send us the diameter or dimensions and we will give you a price indication.
Do you also clean large hospitality parasols and shade sails?
Yes. We also clean and reproof large parasols for restaurants, cafés and terraces, as well as shade sails. For larger quantities, we are happy to plan the cleaning outside your season.
How long does the reproofing last?
On average the coating gives optimal protection for three years, depending on use and location. After that, it gradually wears off.
