Our services
Boat canvas, sails, caravan awnings or awning fabric: we work to fixed, controlled processes. Your textiles come back clean, free of mould and protected for longer.
Deep cleaning that lifts dirt, algae, green growth and mildew stains out of the fabric without damaging the material. Even heavily soiled boat covers and awnings come up clean again.
After cleaning, we reproof the fabric. The coating makes your canvas, sails and awning water- and dirt-repellent again and keeps the colour fresh for longer.
On request, we repair stitching, seams and windows to a professional standard. Discuss any repairs with us or with your collection point in advance.
Drop off your textiles at one of 170+ collection points, usually a sailmaker near you. We collect, clean in Sneek and return everything clean. For awnings, we agree the best approach with you.

Tino Schurer founded ZONklaar in 2010 because boat owners and sailmakers needed a reliable way to clean and protect sails, boat canvas and awnings. What started in Friesland has grown into a network of more than 170 collection points in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
Our conviction from day one: quality is not a promise, it is the standard. That is why we develop all our cleaning and reproofing processes in-house, based on hands-on experience and measurable results.
We do all the work ourselves, with no middlemen, in our professionally equipped facility in Sneek. That is where sails, boat covers and awnings are cleaned, reproofed and technically maintained.
