Questions we are often asked
Where can I drop off my boat canvas or sails?
At one of our 170+ collection points in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, mostly sailmakers, chandlers and marinas. Tell us where you or your boat are based and we will let you know the nearest collection point. You can also bring your items straight to our facility in Sneek.
How long does cleaning take?
It depends on the season. From February to April our facility is at full capacity, so allow 5 to 7 weeks. The rest of the year your items are usually ready within a week. Drop off in September, October or November and you will have everything back well before the new season. Rush orders are possible for a 25% surcharge.
How much does it cost to have boat canvas, sails or an awning cleaned?
We price boat covers, sprayhoods and tents by weight, sails per square metre and awnings by surface area. Tell us the type and approximate size and we will send you a price indication. For business customers and larger volumes, we put together a tailored quote.
Do you collect items?
Private customers drop off at a collection point or in Sneek; we take care of transport from there. For business customers with larger volumes, such as sailmakers, marinas or boat storage businesses, collection can be arranged.
Do you remove mould and mildew stains?
Yes. Our deep clean lifts mould, mildew stains, algae and green growth out of the fabric. If the fabric is very old or badly weathered, we will tell you honestly in advance what can still be achieved.
